HELP: HOW TO USE THE FORUM

Many used terms in forums system messages, are technical terms, known only by who works in informatics. We think therefore to do a pleasant thing with this essential guide. 

If the something is not clear, or you find some other obscure aspects, please do not hesitate to notice it to us, we will add the needed explanations.  

To add a new message / topic 

(also called 'thread')

  1. in the general conferences page, click on the title of the desired forum 

  2. in the page of the desired forum, click on POST 

  3. write your name, in the first box (max. 25 characters) 

  4. write the title of your message, in the second box (max. 50 characters) 

  5. write the text of your message, in the biggest box  

To answer to an existing message / topic

 

  1. in the page of the desired forum, click on the title of the message you want to answer to

  2. go to the end of the message 

  3. click on the word 'REPLY' 

  4. at this point, write your answer, (proceed from point 3. of the above procedure) 

To see all the answers of the existing messages
  1. in the forums general page, click on the title of the desired forum 

  2. in the page of the desired forum, click on the +, on the blue bar, at the left of the text 'Discussion Topic' (the + becomes -) 

  3. under all the messages having answers the titles of the answers appear 

  4. if you want to repky to an answer, click on the title of the desired answer, and then follow the answer procedure of answer (from point 2. of the above procedure)

To see again only the titles of the messages 
  1. in the page of the select forum, to click on the -, on the blue bar, to the left of the writing' Sort Topics by' (the - a becomes +)
